White Mirror, the exhibition from the Fondation Valmont, kicks off its world tour!
Didier Guillon, president of the Fondation Valmont, presents White Mirror, an exposition of his artworks that engages with his stance on our modern world, exploring one man’s view of mankind.
The Groupe Valmont—known for the excellence of its beauty products—also sets its sights beyond cosmetics. Thanks to the Foundation Valmont, headquartered in the Palazzo Bonvincini in Venice, the Groupe breathes life into its vision of universal beauty under the guidance of Didier Guillon: a man, an artist, and a committed president.
Observing the Observer
In Venice, Didier gives the impulse for numerous expositions, hosts artists, and gives free reign to his own creations. From these dialogues and observations, new ideas develop, and new works are born—works he presents around the world.
After 2018’s L’Élégante Symétrie du Gorille (The Elegant Symmetry of the Gorilla)— dedicated to the idea of liberty—this year Didier invites us into a reflection on man: his relationship to the other and to himself. With White Mirror, he poses this unsettling question: Are you wearing a mask?
Art and Charity
Conceived through 30 works in a range of media, this exposition lives and breathes the cutting-edge, interrogating geopolitical questions and offering an artistic—and enchanting—path linking white and gold.
Following an exclusive launch in Tokyo in early October, White Mirror will jet off to New York, Munich, Milan and Chengdu, China. A truly international saga, at every stage of this tour the Fondation will help fund a local organization. From sustainable eco-projects (Kids Earth Fund) to the well-being of children (Publicolor/ Save the Children), the proceeds from the sale of these works or accessories go directly to the allied organization.
The Valmont Foundation, where art commits at every level.
